Best Seats for Pittsburgh Pirates Games

The best seats for a Pittsburgh Pirates game at PNC Park are located in the sections behind the plate and surrounding the infield, in sections 9-24 and 109-124. If these sections are a bit out of your price range, the seats near the foul poles are also a nice option.

PNC Park has also gone cashless, so make sure you bring your credit or debit card with you. There is a "reverse ATM" to convert cash to a pre-paid Mastercard free of charge if you forget.

Highlights include exclusive access to pre-game batting practice at PNC Park (if you schedule a game day tour), locker room visits, suite and club access, replica Super Bowl trophies to see and so much more. Tours of each facility are led by seasoned guides with a serious knowledge on the city's sports teams.

Each guest is permitted to bring one bag into the ballpark (purses, fanny packs, backpacks, etc.) provided that the bag is soft-sided and 16” x 16” x 8” or smaller. Bags exceeding these dimensions will not be permitted inside the ballpark. All bags are subject to search.

On the upper 300-level, seats toward the back are covered by the stadium roof. Sections 313-319 offer a nice perspective, albeit from a higher vantage point. Elsewhere in the ballpark, any seat not under cover will be sun-exposed during the early innings.

T-Mobile Park is the hardest place in MLB to hit again - especially if you hit it perfectly. Seattle's reputation as an extreme pitcher's park had softened for a while, but it's back with a vengeance.

So far this season, the Pirates' 31 home games have averaged two hours and 36 minutes, about a half-hour shorter than in previous years.

Buy Early! Batting Practice On-Field Passes will remain on sale up until 72 hours prior to the first pitch of any given game, or for as long as supplies last. Arrive Early! Fans holding Batting Practice On-Field Passes should arrive 3 hours prior to first pitch.

All bags and items are subject to search upon entry. Guests are allowed to bring food and bottled water up to 24 oz, and they must be clear, sealed, and disposable. All other drinks are not permitted in PNC.

The venue doesn't allow coolers, laser pointers, weapons or animals (except for seeing eye dogs). Food is allowed in a clear one gallon plastic bag. One sealed bottle of water is also allowed. Low lawn chairs e.g. beach chairs are allowed but the seat cannot be higher than 9 inches from the ground.

Bottles, Cans, Coolers

Exceptions: unopened plastic bottles (non-alcoholic), baby bottles and single-serve, soft-sided juice containers may be brought into the ballpark after inspection.

Fans are permitted to bring in factory sealed bottles of water or empty plastic reusable bottle 32 ounce or less in size. Non-sealed water bottles, metal bottles, aluminum bottles, glass bottles, or any bottle larger than 32 ounces in size is prohibited.
