Common Questions About Conference

How do I attend general conference in person?

If you live in the United States or Canada, ask your local stake leaders about tickets. Most stakes have tickets for distribution.

Tickets are distributed this way to provide opportunities to those who may not have attended before. This also helps address individual- and group-sized ticket needs, rather than doing a first come, first served approach or a random ticket request.

If you live outside of the United States or Canada, ask your stake or district president to submit a request for tickets on your behalf.

A standby line will be available outside the tabernacle on Temple Square for overflow seating as well as potential seating in the Conference Center as available.

Consider these questions to help you prepare to teach:

· What do I hope members will know and do after discussing this message?
· What does the speaker want members to understand? What gospel principles is he or she teaching? How do these principles apply to my elders quorum or Relief Society?
· What scriptures did the speaker use to support his or her message?
· What questions could I ask that would help members ponder and apply the teachings in the message? What questions will help them see the relevance of these teachings in their lives, in their families, and in the Lord’s work?
· What can I do to invite the Spirit into our meeting? What could I use to enhance the discussion (including stories, analogies, music, or artwork)?
