What are examples of environmental data? ›

Environmental Monitoring Data: This encompasses a broad range of measurements, from the health of ecosystems to the impact of human activities. Examples include soil quality, wildlife tracking, and the monitoring of deforestation rates.

Environmental information includes information about the following. The state of environmental elements such as air, water, soil, land and landscapes, natural sites, coastal and marine areas, and biological diversity and its components (including genetically modified organisms).

“Environmental data” is any recorded information that gives us information on the state of our environment.
