On February 3, 1971, at the Thiokol Plant, twenty-nine workers perished, and fifty or more were injured in a deadly explosion. The museum’s eight exhibits tell the story leading up to the explosion – beginning when it manufactured solid rocket propellant engines for NASA and, later, munitions for the military to support the war in Vietnam.
